这首The Swimming Song 的演唱者Loudon Wainwright III，也就是 是独立民谣王子Rufus Wainwright的老爹。他还有个女儿，Martha Wainwright，也是这两年风生水起，大器晚成的女歌手相比Rufus有点歌剧味道的唱腔和Martha诡异沙哑的独立摇滚（今年她发行的专辑倒没那么另类了），作为当年加拿大民谣巨匠的Loundon的音乐则是原汁原味的民谣。
顺便说一句，Rufus给人的感觉越来越像九十年代的Nick Cave了，包括长相……当然老Cave没有他那样让人惊艳的嗓子，他也没有Cave那么黑暗……这个当年帅气而又有点妖艳的小孩儿，已然蜕变成了成熟的男人，声音的魅惑依旧，但已经不是少年心气，而是成熟的妖娆。
